Tamarind Tree Hotel

The location was great for the places we needed to go, especially to Wilson airport. We found all of the staff wonderful, especially Sylvia, Sarah, Thomas and Emanuel, who took such good care of us (we stayed there on 2 separate occasions actually). The breakfast had so much food - definitely fit for anything anyone needed.

Hotel cleanliness, ambience. Rooms are comfortable.

The food here is fantastic, especially the oxtail soup. The hotel staff are really professional and helpful. They help us book the local tours. A 24-hour open coffee shop onsite is also very helpful. This hotel is close to Wilson Airport from where a majority of safari flights leave, so you avoid downtown traffic. However, it is located in Surburb next to busy road, so you can't really go out to have a walk.

Nice sized rooms. You can always tell the cleanliness of a hotel by the stars of their bathrooms. This one has glass doors on both shower and lavatory..not a tacky shower curtain. The size of both is good but a little larger would be better as large guys like me struggle in average sized bathrooms. Beds were firm but not hard so you can get a good night's sleep. Air con works ! Internet has good speed here so that's useful.
